QUANTUM CARNIVAL

Quantum Carnival is an installation consisting of animation and music. It was my Master degree project at Konstfack 2010. The work revolves around my thoughts and notions about rhythm and time. How rhythm affects the body, mind and the physical world around us.
In the world of Quantum physics time seems to work in strange ways. Scientists talk about imaginary time and transcendental numbers.

“ A dancing electron is both a particle and a wave of energy at the same time”

- Graham R. Fleming

During the intense days and nights of the Carnival everything is turned upside down. Human become animal, poor become rich and night turns into day. The clock stops and the rhythm of the drum take over.
